An Alaska Cruise...where a balcony cabin and a spectacular train ride become front-row seats for one of the most breathtaking shows in nature!
To cruise only or not just cruise, but add a land tour of interior Alaska .... always seems to be the question we're asked, when it comes to Alaska.

We've been visiting Alaska for over 25 years, and, we never hesitate to give our answer. You can choose to take a 7 day cruise of the Inside Passage round-trip from Seattle or Vancouver. You'll likely visit Alaska's coastal towns of Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau.  And, perhaps Haines, Sitka, and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It's a great way for first-timers to experience Alaska. However,  if you truly want to experience the Last Frontier, the way to go is combine a 7 day cruise voyage of the Glaciers cruise with a 10 to 15 day land tour of interior Alaska.

To fully experience Alaska, discover its interior from Anchorage to Talkeetna, Fairbanks and a 2 day visit to Denali National Park in between. On an Alaska cruise, you'll journey along the southeast coastline of Alaska, experiencing its glaciers, nature's ever-changing and fragile masterpieces. But on an Alaska Land & Sea Vacation you'll uncover so much more, by combining a seven-night Alaska Voyage of the Glaciers sailing with a small-group tour into its magnificent inland destinations. Stay in the finest available lodges and embark on remote roads and railways in deluxe transportation.

An Alaska Land & Sea Vacation allows you to get  the most from your visit to Alaska. Venture deep into Alaska by combining an Alaska cruise with a land tour, allowing you to explore mesmerizing regions far beyond the coastline. Alaska is home to vibrant local cultures and many hidden treasures.

You'll marvel at sunlight at midnight and close-ups of whales, eagles and caribou. You'll delight in Denali's (formerly known as Mt. McKinley ) majesty and meadows carpeted with wildflowers. Amid unsurpassed grandeur and serenity, the true wilderness of Denali is calling. Catch sight of a humpback whale or wolf pups frolicking in the snow. Alaska is as rustic and romantic as one could ever imagine. Whales, Wonders and Wilderness.

Revel in Alaska's most charming towns and set sight on Alaska's abundant wildlife in their natural habitats, from breaching 40-ton humpback whales, roaming bears and soaring bald eagles. You'll see Majestic Glaciers & Denali on a Land & Sea Vacation! It's a journey equal parts exhilarating and inspiring. Consider the ultimate Alaska land and sea vacation, featuring a tour director escort, personal service and most meals on land included. Spend 5 to 8 nights on land at Princess wilderness lodges visiting Denali and perhaps, sensational places like Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and/or the Kenai Peninsula.

A Land and Sea Vacation to Alaska offers an immersive new destination experience that transforms what may once have been a passing encounter with people, places and cultures into something vibrant, illuminating, even perhaps life-changing.
